Day "55"

Jeff's hemoglobin level and hematocrit did not drop very much today, so the doctors believe he is bleeding less! I guess when they say it is looking better to them, they are not just looking at the urine bag! :) They are looking at Jeff's total chemistry...and they are using their "trained eyes"--at least that is what one of the Urologists told me today!

It was good to see Jacque and Jay back at the old ward today. How blessed your family is to have two amazing and spiritually strong parents and grandparents to help you through this.

It must be hard to see the big picture when you are going hour by hour at the hospital; but our Heavenly Father sees the big picture and no matter what happens, He will not leave you alone. I'm sure you can feel that you are in His hands. Just keep going day by day and soon you will be giving talks about it.

We love you and are praying for you all.

P.S. I am amazed at our strong Jeff. You have a beautiful smile on your face on some of the toughest of days. Jeff...you rock!

We love you guys and think of you all the time. Chandler asks how Bro. Andrus is doing daily. You are such amazing people and a perfect example to all. We are so thankful to have you a part of our ward and lives. You are in our prayers always.
Take care, Love~ The Marsden's

It was great to see your parents at Church today. Jeff and Katherine, I hope you have some sense of how many people love you and admire you, and your parents as well. I can only begin to imagine the burden that each one of you is carrying. I pray that somehow the burden can be made lighter for each of you.

Jeff, when you get back, we've got to go do something fun. We've got to go do a 4-wheeler ride, or something cool. You've got to think of something for us to do.

btw, i'm ok with all the U of U clothes i see you wearing, Morphine is a very powerful drug.
