Day "4"

Well, I wasn't here to witness it myself, but I hear that my husband ate like a horse tonight! He is really trying to stay away from IV nutrition for as long as possible--it is no good for the digestive system. Tonight he ate some soup, toast, crackers, rice, a twix bar, and apple juice. Yes, that is right, he ate something other than cereal! He also decided this morning that he was beginning to look like a grizzly bear, so he decided to shave his beard that had been growing for a week and a half. He has managed to keep his hair so far...it makes me wonder if he will actually lose it! Only time will tell! I can't remember the actual percentage of people who don't lose their hair as a result of chemo, but I know that it is extremely small! Good Luck, right?

Also, some of you might have noticed that I have a spot for a slide show, but there isn't a slide show! That is because I am what I like to call a "Cyber Dummy!" If anyone knows how to make it work, please email me at: jeffkatandrus@gmail.com :)

Jeff and Kathryn!
I only learn about Jeff's condition about a week ago from Dixie Whitehead. I have been thinking about you guys ever since. Zan Stephens told me about this blog and I am so glad I found it. I am so sorry to hear about what you guys have been going through. Thanks for creating this blog so we can hear how Jeff is doing. Tell Jeff that Jason and I are praying for him and hope he'll get better soon. We have had you guys in our prayers. You are amazing Kathryn. You are such a beautiful, strong wife and mother! Take care. We love you both.

Jeff- Dude...What the crap! I just found out about your situation and all I can say is hang in there and keep up the fight. Litterally it can seem like a fight, but what an amazing family you have to be with you through all of this. I cannot think of better people I have known in my life than you and your family. Our prayers are with you and know that God will give you all the strength you need in this...believe me I know. Your wife is one amazing lady, we haven't met, but I can tell. If there is ANYTHING we can do please rely on us if you can. Thanks for keeping this blog so that we can stay informed on things.
With much love and prayers-
