Day "2"

Well, Jeff developed pneumonia on Monday, and they began medicating him that day! Today, when Jeff actually left the unit for a chest x-ray, there was no sign of infection! Thank you for your prayers and fasting! We know it helps and works!

The doctor and nurses told Jeff that if he will get up and exercise, try to get some food in his stomach, and keep up on his oral care, he will get out of here sooner than later! So, Jeff jumped up and rode the bike and then did his oral care! Then, he ate a twix candy bar and some sliced peaches! Thats my man...only the good stuff! He has had a great day, and he is really trying hard!

I am trying to get a slide show of all the bald head going around! So, if you have one, please email me a picture at jeffkatandrus@gmail.com! I read your comments and emails to Jeff each day, and he loves to hear from you! Sorry it takes us so long to respond! We'll get better at it!

Jeff and Kathryn, it has been wonderful to see your progress. If you need any more of the "good stuff" to eat or anything else, please let me know as I can have it there in about 15 minutes. We are proud of you want to help if we can. We hope today is even better.

Jeff my friend TIna has been following your blog she called me this morning to tell me you were kicking my but. No more laying around she wants me up riding a bike with you.:) I told her as soon as the Dr gives me the ok I will just don't want to risk having things not heal and be down longer than I am. So keep riding the bike and doing so well. You look awesome better than when you went in for sure. Since the prayers are working we will keep saying them. Love you Both lots

Hi both of you. We sure think you look good. Your bald Dad does'nt look too bad either. We pray that your progress will go rapidly. We sure lke the blog, update and pics. I sure saves on us calling and bugging someone about how you are. Chante" and Tiffany sure wanted to come see you but decided that all of the people that they came in contact with each day, they could be carrying some very nasty germs. Hang tuff. Remember, this day too shall pass. We are rooting for you.
