Day "51"
As of this moment, Jeff is receiving his fourth unit of blood today. His hemoglobin level dropped drastically yesterday, and they are still playing catch up. When we asked the doctor how long she thought we would be here, she mentioned that the study they are basing this new treatment on usually runs about seven days...we were just expecting a few. SO...our kids went home to St. George with Grandma and Grandpa Andrus so I could be here to cheer Jeff on as his bladder is clamped off for two hours at a time! :)

Kathryn, you do a great job of writing this blog. Thanks for sharing this process with all of us. I get asked frequently about Jeff, and most weeks at church the Andrus family is spoken of from the pulpit at one time or another. I know Jeff is the one going through this illness, but I can't tell you how impressed I am with his good parents, siblings, and wife. I really hope all the Lord's blessings will be upon each of you, for this trial that you are so bravely enduring.
thats so sad i hope jeff will get better soon and come back to st.george and to school {tell him i dont like the new counceler its just not the same} i hope i will see you two and your kids at church soon and to see jeff back at sunrise ridge this year or next year

Keep your chins up guys...and thanks for keeping us updated so well. Sorry to hear about your uncle Blaine...but now you have yet another angel on your side looking over things.
We hope that this will soon be behind you and that every day Jeff may get better and better. Know that we are thinking and praying for you daily.
Love,
Brandt and Lindsey
