Day "8"
For a long time now (like since Day "-1") I have been thinking that Jeff might be one of those small percentage of people who don't loose their hair during chemo...but I was wrong. Last night, while scratching his head, Jeff grabbed onto a little patch of hair and pulled it out with ease! I couldn't believe it, so I tried it myself!;) Sure enough, I pulled out the patch I grabbed onto! After showering this morning and finding hair all over his towel, Jeff decided to shave it all off to avoid the irritation of hair in his clothing. It's to bad Kaitlyn wasn't around...she would have enjoyed shaving daddy's head again!

Interesting...I just asked a nurse I work with the other night how long someone can lost their hair after chemo- she said about 2 weeks, so right on the money, huh? Jeff- we love you so much. We are so sorry you have to go through all this. Know that it will end, and when it does, we are going on the cruise we keep talking about! Keep up your good spirits, talk to you later!
Jeff and Kat.....we love your blog. Kat, you have done a great job keeping it up, and filling it with pictures and insights. This blog has become a lifeline for our family to be a part of your incredible journey. We Love You so much and are so proud of your courage, strength, and faith.

Jeff and Kathryn - This is Kenzee Anderson (Jody and Jill McDonald's daughter). I just wanted to say that your guys' positive attitudes really are inspiring. I know.. I sound cheesy.. but I am serious! We will be right by you guys starting on Tuesday at Primary Childrens. I really hope that we can follow your example, I'm sure that positive, happy attitudes makes a HUGE difference.
Kathryn..you are so strong. I am not that strong. I had my oldest in the NICU when he was born for only four weeks and I was a mess. You are continually in our prayers and thoughts.

Jeff- you should get yourself some kind of 'awesome' wig and wear it around :) So, I know that morning sickness doesn't compare, but I totally sympathize with any nausia your experiencing. Hope you guys have a great Turkey day, and f.y.i. it's rainy and wet down here, so you're not missing much :)
Jeff and Kathryn, Jeff will know me but I am sure You don't. I am sorry to hear about all that you are going through. It makes you look at life a little differently. You are very strong and it shows. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Janae Bang
Alan thinks he is going to shave his "manscape" for Jeff. We will see if he follows through. As usual we are thinking of you. We hope you continue to have positive progress.
